Why Motion Desing for these Three Projects
Animations/visual dynamics play an essential role in better communicating with users. Thus, generally speaking, the primary purpose of UI animation is to improve an application's user experience by providing feedback, context, and orientation while also creating connections with users, adding character, and evoking emotions.
1.Smart Home Application
Value change animation for a thermostat.
Why value change animation for this project? Value change communicates the dynamic nature of data representations, informs users that data is interactive, and influences the dataset. Users’ willingness to engage with the data decreases if these values are introduced without motion. Changing the data gives the user a sense of control over the application.
2. Meditation Application
Dolly and Zoom for a content player.
Why Dolly and Zoom animations for this project? Using Dolly and Zoom animations for this project is beneficial for preserving continuity and spatial narrative when navigating different elements and scenes. It can help users feel more familiar and comfortable with the interface, even when new elements are introduced. The animations can show where things come from and how they are transformed by generating a connection between different components, promoting a smoother user experience.
3. Home Renovation Webpage
Parallex efect for a landing page.
Why parallax animation for this project? The parallax effect is a great way to enrich a site, showcase products, and create a sense of immersion. Along with an easier-on-the-eyes way of displaying visuals and text, parallax scrolling gives visitors a more dynamic user experience. Moving through a web page triggers multiple activity points on the screen, giving them a heightened sense of visual feedback while scrolling through.
