Visual Interface Definitions
Neon lights, pastel colors, and a bold typography balance with a lighter to re-interpret the style of the 80s in the application. My starting point was researching various disciplines like movies, video games, and music to understand the 80's style better.
The raise of pixel art
During the 80s, computers, and digital art started gaining relevance, and the hard edges of pixel art were the only type of art computers could make. Pixel icons generate attachments with nostalgia for old computer UIs and video games.
8-point Spacing
The 8-point spacing system maintains proportions by providing a clear visual hierarchy of the elements to create a consistent and well-balanced user interface.
